IoT Software Suite
The Vypin IoT software suite is an integrated collection of mobile, edge, and cloud (local, campus, enterprise) software optimized to support the latest in IoT connected devices and uniquely identified objects (physical assets, animals, people). It provides multiple options, one experience, consistent across all platforms.
Our software suite produces “everywhere intelligence” delivered on-demand or in alert format through a series of business intelligence (BI) scorecards, digital alerts (text, email, push), and fixed reports. The software is auto-ID independent, providing the ability to insert scan engines for multiple identification formats including barcode (including QR codes), passive / active RFID, and other wireless communication protocols. Specific attributes of each suite component include:
Supports the most popular operating systems. Our mobile may operate as a mobile gateway (and forward data to a remote cloud) or in a view-only mode. It is also used for administrative functions such as tag registration.
Through a partnership with Intel, Vypin provides an edge appliance server (Intel Nuc pre-loaded with Vypin Software). The Nuc server may operate as a local cloud (stand-alone or campus architecture) or as an edge server for pre-processing enterprise cloud data. It can also provide local analysis when low latency is required.
Featuring a flexible MicroSoft Azure platform, the Vypin Iot Software Suite provides a detailed asset and transaction log plus location and analytic services. Tailored BI scorecards are available along with an alert engine for custom business rules. It also provides extensive administrative tools including device monitoring and the latest in Cloud Security.
Our suite is one of the first IoT software platforms to work with IBM’s Watson AI engine for big data analytics and to unlock new value for customer applications. It can scale from small deployments to large enterprise applications. It can be deployed in multi-tenant or single tenant format. Tiered access levels plus role-based security is built in. It also provides mobile rendering – important for mobile devices. Another unique feature of the suite is the built-in end-user chat system.
It has a special feature of editions, whereby features may be turned on or off depending upon the vertical market application.
“The goal is to be able to tailor our software to a new vertical market within a week,” notes Mitch Bernet, Chief Executive Officer of Vypin.
The editions feature provides Vypin with the ability to quickly react to market opportunities. Our IoT Software Suite is available on a subscription basis and as a part of a fully integrated Vypin solution.
